Halloween 2011

We had so much fun for Halloween. We went to Richland Washington to spend some time with Seth's sisters Heather and Megan and their families. The girls love spending time with their cousins. We all dressed up and out we went to get some yummy candy. Hannah was Rapunzel and Gabbie was a Flamingo( Hannah wore it a few years ago, Gabbie has a Pascal costume but it wasn't warm enough)

This was Gabbies first door to Trick or Treat. She got her bag of chips? and then tried to let herself into the womans house.:) Im sure she was trying to look for the good candy. Who gives chips to trick or treaters?

By the end of the night Gabbie would shout "Trick or Treat! and she would always remember ("Tank You!)

Seriously:) Uncle Jason doesn't love dressing up so he really outdid himself this year. Aunt Heather said he was a victorian vampire but seth said he looked more like a pimp. It was so fun!

Hannah and Marah. Hannah looks up to Marah so much. They really love each other. On the drive to Aunt Megans house Hannah said, " Marah you are my cousin and my Best freind."

So this whole trip Gabbie has cried and run away whenever she has seen Uncle Dan. Then he put on his mask and she loved him. Funny how kids think:)

Trunk or Treat

The Trunk or Treat at the Church was fun. Hannah Dressed as Rapunzel, Gabbie was Pascal and Seth was a foreign exchange student. They had a fun time Hannah went to every car a few times and Gabbie had a good time until a teenager who wasn't watching ran into her and gave her a huge goose egg and a fat lip. She was alright after a piece of candy:)

Enjoying the Summer

We have had so much fun this summer. The weather has been nice and Hot and we have had some really great times with friends. We have spent many days wandering around the zoo. Hannah has just this year discovered how fun the zoo map is and she directs us to the animals she wants to see. When there we always try to find time to go to visit the Lorikeet Adventure. Here you can buy some nectar and feed the birds. Hannah loves every minute, and well, Gabbie just chases the birds around the exhibit:)

These next pictures were taken at the Denver Aquarium with the Burtons. The last picture should be first. I snapped a picture of just Hannah, Ashlyn and Hayden and then Henry wanted in on the photo op. It makes me laugh to see how Hannah's legs fell clear back. This family is Awesome. I love that the kids all love each other and NEVER fight. It is so refreshing.

Break Through!

So I don't have a picture of the amazing break through but I will get one next time we go to the pool, but I wanted to get this on here so I don't forget it. Hannah has really been enjoying swimming lessons this summer. She was first in the Guppies with Mariah, and then moved to Preschool 1 or Starfish with Jeff. I think it is too cute because Jeff is a University student home for the summer and Hannah says she thinks he is really handsome:) Maybe that has helped her learn so fast. So at the start of this session Hannah was timid and a little fearful of the water and breathing while truing to swim and floating. Well we were on the last lesson of this class and Hannah was still only laying on her back and floating for maybe 1-3 second before you would see a panic in her eyes and she would begin to sink and Jeff would need to grab her. He was trying to teach her to push off from the wall of the pool and float by herself. They right before the end of class he asked her to try one more time. She did it!!!! Not only a few arm strokes before sinking she made it the entire length of the pool, by herself with no help! I couldn't believe it she was floating and breathing and smiling, all the while doing "Chicken, Airplane, Soldier" When she made it to the side I heard her tell Jeff, " I did it! I really did it!" She went across the pool by herself one more time, and I was so proud I might have even teared up a bit:) THANK YOU JEFF!!!!!! It was really special to see her AHHA moment. When we got to the car she said, "Mom, I'm really proud of myself!" It was so sweet! I hope that She will always look back and remember that hard work, practice, faith and courage go a long way!

Sleeping Beauties

So I absolutely love sleeping pictures of the girls. They are so beautiful! I love how long and lush her eyelashes are. Certainly she got those from her Daddy and not her Mom. She really is a little princess!Now this little Lovin is something sweet. She has this new habit of sticking her legs through the crib bars while she sleeps. Whenever I go to check on her I move her back to the normal position in the middle of the bed. Then without fail she turns herself around and sticks her legs through the bars. So funny this one:)

Mosquito

Mosquito bites are the very worst! They itch like crazy and they swell up and are not fun. When coming out of church Hannah decided to take the scenic route through the grass to the car. When she got in I notice a little bump right under her eye. I told her not to itch it. This picture was taken Monday morning. So much for not itching:(

Catching Up Continued (Gabbie)

Gabbie: So where to start with this little Lovin! She is so so funny. She is a happy girl. She is all over the place. We now have to put the chairs up on a large table to keep her from climbing and pushing them around the kitchen to get into anything out of reach. And most of it is out of reach for a reason. She loves the swings at the park! lets just say that we always have tears when it is time to leave.

She laughs at everything, and she has the cutest deep laugh. He favorite word is "This" she will point to things and say, "this" then shake her head no as we point to everything in the area. It its an awesome game (not)! She Can say Hannah, Mom, Hi Dad, nose, bup (up), tank you, and other little words, she also barks like a really high pitched dog and Seth taught her how to Baa like a sheep. And she gives the sweetest kisses:)

Gabbie is a joy she makes everyone happy. She has a smile that can change anyones day and is our little love!
whenever we get into the car she takes both shoes off and pulls her feet up to pick out her toe lint. So weird, as you can tell form the picture she is really into it.
She discovered McDonalds ice cream cones this summer and loves every messy moment.
And my oh my do we go through some serious popsicles in the Ludwig home. We love summer time and white onesies!

Catching Up (Hannah)

So I think it is about time to catch up on blogging and keeping our families on the fun and silly things our girlies do.

Hannah: So this little Tater always has us laughing. She is such a sweet little tender girl, but oh the sense of humor she has:) She has finished her first season of dancing. She took Ballet and Tap. You can tell that ballet is the dance she loves the most:) She is such a pretty dancer and always listens to her teacher so she can learn alot.

She is a really hard worker and is also a very good friend. She has made some really good friends over the last little while (Kaitlyn, Ashlyn, Zasha, Glori, and Courtney) to name a few. These girls play so well together and never fight so that makes a momma happy.

This year she has been memorizing the Articles of Faith and has now learned 7 of them word for word. She is such a special little one. The other day we had a man come over to replace our water heater. We invited him to church with us and when he asked what church we go to Hannah quickly said, "The Church of Jesus Christ of Later-Day Saints" We were so proud of her that she knew and also that she was a little missionary. She is always eager to share her testimony with everyone especially Gabbie.

She still loves all of the Disney Princesses her favorite being (Sleeping Beauty).

She is a super great big sister. She is always looking out for Gabbie and can make her laugh in a second. All in all Hannah is wonderful and makes our lives so happy:)

So the other day it was really quiet so I wen t looking for Hannah and this is what I found. She was reading a Betty Crocker cook book while on then potty. Awesome!
This is right before her first dance recital. She was so excited to get her hair curled (well after she learned that it doesn't last forever. she was a little worried that it would make her hair shorter and that it would never come out) and to wear a bit of make up.
Here she put two little balloons under her dress and came over to us and said " look I have huge boobies" and then giggled for about 10 min.

I am always giving monthly updates on Gabbie so I felt it was about time for an update on our little Tater. Hannah is such a little sweetie! I can not get enough of her! She is loving preschool and dance. One of her preschool teachers (Mrs Gordon) told Seth when he went to pick up Hannah that "I just love talking to Hannah! It is as though I am having a conversation with a 20 year old." Tater always has a story to tell and it is fun to hear he use words like hilarious and fabulous and especially( and she uses those words correctly). Just makes this mommas heart happy. She can always make Gabbie laugh and loves her some fruit snacks (gets this from her daddy). She can't wait for her Dad to come home from work and when he does they play their daily game of hide and seek. Hannah is getting really good. Hannah loves primary and is learning the songs for this year. She also began in November learning the Articles of Faith and has successfully memorized word for word 1-5 and is working on #6 She also memorized Moses 1:39. This little girl has an amazing memory! She is always dancing around the house and is so so happy! We feel extremely blessed to have her as part of our family! We all love her more that life!

Gabbie is 11 Months old

Seriously could this little girl get any cuter? I think not!! So the other day someone asked me how old Gabbie was and I found myself saying "she is 10 months old" What? did the entire last month slip past me? How can my baby almost be one? Gabbie is 20 lbs, still only has the 8 teeth (4 up and 4 down), the prettiest blue eyes that just shine and a super fun personality. Right now she is our little garbage kid. If there is garbage around you can bet she will find it and put in it her mouth. So so yucky! She is only walking now and loves to go up and down the stairs if only she could figure out that she can't just walk off the top one, luckily we have always been there to catch her. Silly kid. Hannah is her hero and she is just now getting over the "I only have eyes for my momma" stage. She now loves to cuddle her Dadddy, it is so cute. when Seth gets home from work Gabbie says, "Hi Dad"! So sweet. She loves to pat your back every time you pick her up and i do mean every time. She thinks it is too cool to spit :( and just loves to be surrounded by people at all times. And WE LOVE HER!

Gabbie is Ten Months Old

Ok so this little lovin is so so much fun! Gabbie makes everyone she meets so happy. She is always smiling and is always making the funniest faces. She is standing on her own and walking all over holding on the furniture. It is fun for us to see her "big" personality developing. She has 8 super cute teeth. I could just kiss her little cheeks all day long. She follows Hannah everywhere and wants to be just like her. She still refuses to eat any baby food. This momma is grateful for fresh fruits and veggies, crackers, rice and noodles. What a silly kid. She is such a little light and we are grateful she is part of our family!

Gabbie sits like this all day long. With one leg kicked out like a kick stand and the other pinned up under her bum. Sometimes when crawling isn't fast enough for her she will kick that one leg forward mid craw to propel herself along faster:) Sure do love her guts!

Hannah is loving her dance class! She has the neatest teacher, Mrs. Carrie. She has really taken our little Tater under her wing and just loves her. Hannah has so much fun and is making a lot of new friends. Hannah is developing great social skills between dance class and pre-school. I am grateful for diligent teachers.

Gab is 9 Months

This little sweet lovin makes my heart so happy. So Gab is now standing on her very own without holding on it is so cute and she gets so very proud of herself. Her little smile can light up anybodies day. She is such a great baby. She sleeps between 12-13 hours a night and ha 2 really good naps during the day. She is excited by animals and loves to be held. Her eyes are such a beautiful shade of blue. She really makes our hearts happy when we go into her room after a nap or bed time and she is jumping up and down and smiling so big. She can also say Momma (she mainly says this when she is sad and needs a snuggle) and she says "Dad" and it is super high pitched and so cute. She can also say "HI" it is so amazing how fast they grow. It seems just a short time ago when we were bringing her home. We love love love her!

Ducks vs Geese

I have been terrible at keeping up on the blog so I will have some serious updating to old. These pictures are from summer but just too sweet to keep out.

After school in mid September I took the girls to the park by the Broomfield library. They have this wonderful pond that have super cute ducklings. We have been going there for some time so Hannah has watched these little ones grow. She loves to bring bread and feed then. I have always known that Tater has a tender heart, but today I could really see it. It began as a fun day feeding the ducks and then...
The Canadian Geese showed up...those mean ol geese started to chase off Hannah's little ducks and eat all of the bread. They would honk loudly and then when a duck would get too close to some food they would bite their little duck tails:(
As you can see my little sweet Tater had a melt down. She tried yelling at the geese to go away, but no luck. So she just cried and cried. It was so sweet to see how much she cared for those little ducks.
I know Im a good mom to capture the whole thing on the camera. Guess she doesn't get being sensitive from me:( I love her little personality. She really is so so sweet.

I Love my little Denver Bronco Fans!!

Seth is a Huge Denver Bronco fan. I mean die hard. He follows them even when they have a horrible season (like this year!) He sometimes wont let me watch because I think it is just a game either way and he thinks my attitude will jinks them. So funny. Well he is passing on his love for the game to his little girlies. The other day Hannah came downstairs and said, " Dad, can we watch some football?" What a proud Daddy.

Gab is 8 Months Old

So our little Gab is getting so big. She is crawling all over and is always into everything. She loves to be with Hannah and has 5 teeth. Also something that is interesting, funny and frustrating at the same time is that this little sweetie will not eat baby food!! We have tried everything and the result is always the same. We put the first bite in her mouth, then she will immediately put her fingers in her mouth and scrape out the food and flick it on the ground. Awesome I know. So her favorite foods right now are boiled noodles, blueberries, cheerios, and frozen peas. Sure makes meal times interesting.

On a serious note we love this little girl so much!!! She makes life so happy and we are so grateful for her!

This is one of her favorite ways to be carried by her daddy.

Just thought that I should get updated on here. These are a few of the funny moments the past month with the girls.

I left the girlies with their daddy and come home to find Gab stuffed in a shopping cart. They all looked like they were having a blast. Especially Gab.

Princess Hannah has been making "cars" lately and going on trips to the mountains she says. She decided to make Gabbie a spot in this car made of chairs on the couch. we sure love these girls.

Gab is 7 Month

I cannot believe that our Gabbie is 7 months old. She is so so much fun. She still likes everyone she meets and she now has her 2 bottom teeth. Good thing she get to be a pumpkin for Halloween. She is sitting up all by herself and really trying to get up on all fours. She is loving to eat other things besides plain ol boring rice cereal and formula. Her favorite so far is squash and sweet potatoes. She could care less for any of the green stuff and only sort of likes the sweet fruits. She is eating Cheerios :) Happy day! She sleeps great through the night and is now weighing in just over 15 lbs. We have found her skin to be super sensitive and only unsentedbaby Aveeno works. Darn no yummy smelling lotions for our Gab. We are so so grateful that she is ours! Oh she also adores her big sis Hannah. The really big smiles come out when Hannah is around and Hannah is really able to get the big belly laughs:)
Right now she is always sticking out her tongue. It is so cute and always makes me happy. I think she got that from her Pappa.

Temple Trip

The other day the girlies and I drove out to the Denver Temple. I just love the temple! The sweet spirit of our Savior is so strong. I am grateful to have a temple only a short distance from us. We had a wonderful time walking the grounds and partaking the beauty all around us. Hannah is learning all about Moroni and some of the things he has done as a prophet so it is exciting for her to see the beautiful statue on the top of the temple. I know these sacred buildings allow us to be together forever as a family and I want nothing more than to be with my darlings for all of eternity.

Gab is 6 months

So i seriously cannot believe how fast Gabbie has grown. She is six months old today! What??? I know. She is such a joy to have in our family! Always smiling and happy to be around you. She is already in the momma stage where no one else can give her a bottle or it is just a battle and she just likes to snuggle into me. I am certainly not complaining! Just makes this momma feel loved! Her favorite person right now is absolutely Hannah! She giggles and giggles whenever Hannah is around. She especially loves when Hannah pretends to fall on the ground and be hurt. Silly girls. She is getting he two front bottom teeth. I can see little bumps so it is just a matter of days I think. She id finally rolling over regularly and is doing a great job so sitting on her own. Just all around a great girl!! We love, love, love her!!!

So I'm not usually big on the huge flower head bands. She does look cute, but not long after the flower one is on Gab can see it out of the corner of her eye and she pulls it down and starts munching:)

Dance Class

Our sweet little Hannah finally started dance class. She has been begging for some time for us to enroll her so she can be just like her cousin Kiana Rhodes, who is amazing by the way! So we enrolled her in Elite Dance Academy. Her teacher is Mrs Carrie. And Hannah is such a great listener and really has such a desire to learn more. So she has made a pretty good student. After her 3rd dance class was over her teacher pulled us aside and asked to move her to the 5 year old class because she was finding herself using Hannah as her littler helper because she is doing great. So our little girl now goes Tuesday and Thursday for 1 hour with the big kids and loves every minute. I am a proud momma.

Hannah First Day of School

My little tater started Pre-School today. I can't believe that this day has come so fast. I am so excited for her. She has great teachers, Mrs Gordon, Mrs Chiles, and Mrs Hossler. There are 6 girls and only 1 boy in her class. She has been so excited to start. The kids were asked to each wear brown to kick off the start of, "Brown Bear". Hannah was really excited about her rolling Dora back pack, aka "pack pack". They asked that the parents followed them through a shortened first day to get the kids comfortable. Of course Hannah had not difficulty she was so ready to start school. I am excited for all the wonderful things that await her. My sweet big girl:)

Gab is 5 months

I can't believe that my baby is 5 months old. She is getting so big. Now she is just over 14 lbs and I love to see how big she looks in her big girl jammies. She is so happy all of the time. She is holding her bottle on her own and is scooting all over on her back because she is really lazy about rolling over. I think it is because she has a big sister to help her get whatever she can't get. Just makes me laugh. Gabbie has a wonderful personality and it makes everyone feel so special when they talk to her. What a bit of pure sweetness!

Well thank you Walmart. Hannah saw a pair of princess shoes that were must haves. I really tried to talk her out of it. Clearly from the pictures no such luck. Hannah wears them with everything. Even a swimsuit. She looks like Richard Simmons with her crazy morning hair, swim suit and those rockin shoes:) I sure love her

Colorado Cares Day

As a ward we all went out the the Metzger Farm (over 140 acres) to help clean it up and serve in the community. Seth and I felt that it was important to take Hannah along so she could learn the importance of service and how as you serve the spirit helps you to be happy.

This is Hannah with Brother Mathias from our ward. She loves him so much. They always make a point to seek each other out and get a snuggle. They have a special connection. It is so cute.

All Done. We all had such a great time it was a beautiful day. Hannah did amazing. We were out in the heat pulling weeds for 3 hours and she didn't complain once. She continued to say "we are serving and service makes us happy!" What a great little server!

I had gone downstairs for a minute. When I came back to our room Hannah had maneuvered Gabbie to be in her lap. And they were both too Happy

Both Girls fell asleep watching cartoons. I know, I know Hannah is getting too big for a binkie, but I haven't wanted to take on that battle yet.

OUCH

My sweet baby I promise I get you shots because I love you and want you to avoid disease and be healthy. It is so so sad to hear you cry especially when I know it is a hurt cry! Breaks my heart. Little Gab had her 4 month well visit today and she is weighing in at 14.3 lbs and is now 26 inches long. My sweet big girl:) She is rolling over (when she wants to) and is tracking very good with her eyes (loved bubbles) really what kid doesn't.

Here are some cute pictures I took today. I can't believe that my sweet little Gab is 4 months old today!! The past few months have gone by so so fast. So Gabbie has rolled over a few times in the past week, but to be honest I don't she her taking much interest in rolling. Probably because she know if she is persistent in squawking I will pick her up. Naughty Momma! She is so so good at sleeping through the night, usually 11 hours. She is always happy and content. And Oh how we love those sweet smiles and giggles! She loves her big sister Hannah and always has some good smooches for her. What a precious girl. We feel so very blessed to have Gabbie in our family!

We love our Aunt Vera!!! Vera is my Great Aunt so the girls Great Great Aunt and we love her so so much. We get to spend some much valued time with her because she lives here in Denver. She is such an amazing woman and I hope that my girls will look up to her in the years to come. She is beautiful inside and out. And she always brings such a special spirit. My girlies just love her. These two little girls just love each other. They became friends a few years ago, but would fight over toys and it would always end in tears. I think it was because Hannah was younger and couldn't talk as well. So they have stuck it out and now have become the best of friends. They can spend all day together and never tire of each other. Hannah is constantly asking to play with Emily and making sure that we always include "bless my friend Emily" in every prayer throughout the day. Emily's mom said they same thing is happening at their house. So fun when you just love being around each other

We had a wonderful 4th of July. As the fireworks were going off Hannah kept saying, "mom I can hear July, do you hear it?" She is so cute to think that the fireworks are called July. Love her. The Rogers invited us over for some sparklers and fountain fireworks. Hannah had so much fun right up until she decided to grab the hot end of the sparkler. So so sad. Luckily she only got a tiny burn and it felt better after some cold water and some miracle burn cream.

Tonight we went out to dinner with the Olsen Family. This year we have used alot of her last years dresses that I loved for shirts because they have gotten too short. However tonight Hannah wanted to dress herself. She decided that instead of pants or leggings she needed to wear leg warmers pulled all the way up. The result was quite cute until she and a friend Anissa discovered a water fountain after dinner. The result was a bit risque. What a darling.

Hannah got a new swim suit for this summer. I love the swim suits with the boy shorts and surf shirts. They are especially nice for a momma because there is less to keep protected from the sun. I thought Tater looked so scrumptious.

I dipped little Gab's feet in the pool. She just kept trying to lift them higher and higher out of the path of the water. She was just content to chill in the stroller and watch all the fun.

Rollerblades

Hannah is learning how to Roller blade. She has remarkably good balance. She is doing such a good job and is able to slowly roll her way along. I stand by her to give her encouragement and catch her when needed, but all in all she is a natural. Must have gotten her Daddy's natural ability with a variety of sports. Definitely not her mommas. :) I am proud of how fearless she is in trying new things

Zoo Trip with Friends

We went to the Denver Zoo with some friends. Marlie Reed and her super cute boys Jackson "Jack" and Wesley and Elissa Olsen and her beautiful girls Anissa and Kat. We had a ton of fun. It is funny because we have been to the zoo so many times and I can honestly say that I have never noticed this cute bear cub statue before. Little Anissa pointed it out and had to have her picture taken with it. The kids looked so cute.

So the other night Hannah said, "mom i think that maybe Jack could be my prince! I think he is really handsome:)" She was so genuine and sweet. and I love that little Jack so the idea sounds great to me. If you look at the picture above everyone but Hannah is looking at the camera and little Tater is leaning in and taking a peek at Jack.

Ok so really I think I have the cutest little girls in the whole world. They are so so sweet and make me so happy to be their momma. At the end of a day full of craziness it just makes me smile to know they are mine. Hannah is such a great big sister. She loves her little Gab so much. Hannah told me the other day that she is going to call her "Gabster" it is so cute. She can make Gab smile with ever word she says. Also the other day we were driving and Gab was jibber jabbing and Hannah said "mom, did you just hear Gabster say Hi Hannah Sister how are you?" What a perfectly intact imagination. Our Little Gabbie is growing so fast she is scooting all over and has finally really found her voice. Just coos all of the time. She is a genuinely happy little girl. Loves to be near her family. She is alright when you put her down, but the minute she is alone in a room while awake you know she is unhappy. Then we walk back in the room and she is all smiles. As if to say where did everyone go? Stay here with me. Seth and I feel so blessed and love our Family!

Which Wich

We went to lunch at this fantastic sandwich shop "WhichWich" it is wonderful. So on the way to the sandwich shop our little Tater fell asleep. We thought that she would wake up the minute we got there, but she didn't. We even ordered her fav a pizza wich. Still she was completely out. Seth laid her down on the bench by us and let's just say that she stayed asleep until we finished our lunch and put her back in the car. She finally woke up when we got home and carried her in the house. Oh to be a kid and sleep anywhere and have your daddy carry you all around! The life for sure.

P.S We had to wipe up her puddle of drool before we left:)

Uncle Brian

Gabbie is just now big enough for her Uncle Brian to not feel like he is going to break her. He hasn't held her up till now. Then they came over for dinner and he said that she just might be big enough. It is kinda funny to me because he is excellent with little kids. Hannah just adores him. And from the giggles and huge smiles from Gabbie I think it might be all kids he has a way with.

Today my little Gabbie Goo is 3 months old! I can't believe how fast this time with her has gone. She is such a joy. She is super smiley and happy nearly all of the time. She loves when we sing to her. Gabbie always has smiles for her big sister Hannah. She is sleeping at least 8 1/2 - 11 hours a night. What can I say she is one amazing little girl and we are so blessed to have her in our family!

I know she will hate this later, but look at all of those cute creases:)

Service

So we had Family Home Evening last night. We are really enjoying learning the principles of the gospel together. We have noticed a big difference in our family. We are much more patient and loving towards one another. So last night we learned about Service. We talked about how when we serve those around us we are showing Heavenly Fathers and Jesus Christ love for them. And that we need to do the things Jesus would do if he were here on earth. Of course we sand "Give said the little stream" it was a big hit:) And that it is always important to serve with a happy heart. So this morning Hannah got up and aked me to brush her hair so she wouldn't look like a scallywag. I was making breakfast so I said just a minute. Then Hannah said, "Mom, you need do your service to me and brush my hair." Let's just say I quit doing what I was doing and brushed her hair:) I'm so happy to see that she is learning and paying attention. What sweet blessings come from following the counsel of the Prophet!

So we have a new pet. If you can't tell I am all about the pets that live in our yard and I don't have to take care of them. Seth and Hannah went outside to find this cute little gardner snake in the flower beds. Poor little guy didn't have anywhere to hide because I just weeded the garden. Hannah was so brave she even touched the snake with her daddy. We just let him go of course.

Tonight at Family Home Evening our lesson was about being happy. Hannah loved it. She loved learning a new Primary song, Smiles. "If you chance to meet a frown do not let it stay, quickly turn it upside down and smile that frown away." She was so excited to learn that when she smiles it helps us to be like Jesus and helps others feel his love. After we had finished our lesson Hannah looked at her Daddy and said, "Dad, get ready to catch my smile:)" She had the biggest smile and it really was so contagious. She continued smiling until she went to sleep.

Big Helper

Big sister Hannah is such a little helper! She is always wanting to help her little sister out. So today she helped me give baby Gab a bath and then a bottle! Love these little girls. Hannah is always helping me to change diapers and constantly getting things from around the house that I need! What a sweetie!

Zoo Time

We were able to go to the zoo with a good friend the other day. Merideth and her little boy Cole. We had a wonderful time. Of course little Gabbie slept for a good part of the time while Hannah enjoyed a ride on the train and riding the peacock bench on the Carousel. Hannah loved to use the "magic water" to wash her hands at the lorikeet bird exhibit.

So today we went to Subway for lunch. Hannah got her usual turkey on white , light on the lettuce and extra black olives an orange juisce and some cheddar Sun Chips. She munched down a bunch of chips had some orange juice then ate all of the olives and meat off her sandwich. Gabbie was starting to get fussy so we were packing stuff up to go. Hannah said that she needed just one more bite of her sandwich and then we could go. She took a bite and I'm sure many out there have seen the gagging face little kiddos make when they are about to throw up. So I rushed over to her and held out a napkin for her to spit out her bite into my hand. Can I just say that not only did her bite come up. Poor little Hannah vomited everything she had just eaten into my hands. By now Gabbie is screaming and Hannah tried to stop the vomit with her hand so she is screaming because she has puke on her. Everyone in the Subway is trying to pretend they are not witnessing this horrible scene. I stood there wondering how I was going to get myself cleaned up so I could attend to Hannah and Gabbie. Finally I was able to empty my hands and clean Hannah so we could get out of there. After Hannah was cleaned and had stopped crying she looks at me and says, " I guess I should maybe take smaller bites next time:)" I could only laugh.

I know you are probably wondering what is all over Gabbie's face. Well, where should I start. Hannah doesn't like chocolate unless it is in the form of M&M's. We went to Grammie and Pappys house for dinner. Hannah of course found the candy jar then came in to give baby Gabbie a kiss. Little did Hannah know that you have to swallow all of the chewed up chocolate before you bed over or it will all leak out of your mouth. And this is the beautiful result:)

2 Month Wellness Visit

Gabbie had her 2 month wellness visit today. Weighs 11 lbs 9 oz and is still 22 1/2 inches long. She is doing wonderful. She had to have 3 vaccination shots today. It was so sad. But I know that it is important to keep her healthy. Hannah almost cried because she was sad for Gabbie. Sisters have such a special bond. We are grateful for our wonderful Nurse (Brenda Tobias) She is the best!

I was trying to get Hannah to eat her lunch. I think I must have asked her 15 times to sit down and eat. So by the 15th time of asking her my voice was really stern. She looked up at me and rolled her eyes then she pointed her finger at me and said, " next time you call me Princess Hannah, got it!" How can you keep a straight face at that one! Hannah put one of Gabbie's blankets under her crown and told me that it was her Sleeping Beauty Hair. Oh, the imagination:)

Gabbies Blessing

Gabbie was blessed today at the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-Day Saints. It was so so special. A good friend Kinsey Zinser made the most beautiful blessing dress, bonnet and booties. They are stunning. It will definitely be a keepsake. We had so many people here who love this little girl so much. Thanks to Nanna, Pappa, Suzi, Grammie, Pappy, Aunt Amber, Uncle Ryan, Emery, Aunt Alicya, Uncle Brian, Jace and Jody Martin and Fam, Nurse Brenda, Michelle, Jane, and Aunt Vera. This little girl sure is special. The blessing was so beautiful and directly from her Father in Heaven. I am so grateful for the priesthood.

My little Hannah isn't so little any more. Today she got on the big kid swing all by herself and then informed me that she can't go in the baby one any more. Christus Statue

This past summer I had to go out to the distribution center at the Denver Temple. Hannah and Paula (grammie) came with me. While I was making my purchase Hannah and Grannie waited in the visitors center. There is a Christus Statue there. So Hannah and Grammie were reading a Friend magazine and talking about what they saw, when Hannah stopped everything and looked up at the statue of Jesus. She stood there for a good two minutes then said, "Hmm, grammie, Jesus has nipples." All grammie could say was, "yes he does honey"

What an observant little girl. I am sure this comment made all of Heaven laugh out loud.

So we watch biggest loser as a family and tonight one of the contestants fell off of a ladder. Hannah looked at daddy and said, " you use a ladder and don't fall off your ladder, only biggest losers fall off their ladder!" She is so funny!

Seth told Hannah that she could pick all of the dandelion flowers out of our yard. This has made Hannah a very happy little girl. So today was a really warm day so Hannah was out in the yard. She came running in the house with a huge bouquet of flowers not to mention yellow all over he face from smelling them:) She said, " these are all for our family, they are so lovely!" She is so so cute!

1 Month

Our little sweet Gabbie Goo is 1 month old today! I can't believe how fast this past month has gone. It is flying by compared to the last month of pregnancy. Probably because I enjoy her little sweetness being in our family. She is such a wonderful little girl.

We had her one month check up today with Doctor Nelson and Nurse Brenda. She is still battling a bit of reflux and man is she gassy:) Sometimes when she lets the gas rip we look at each other and laugh because it is too big to be coming out of that little cute body! So at the check up she measured in length 22 1/2 inch which is 3 inches of growth in 1 month she is also now weighing 9lbs 8oz which is a increase of almost 2 lbs in 2 weeks. That is some serious weight gain:) We are so happy. Our little Gabbie is doing great. As you can see from the pictures she is getting a cute double chin and that crazy baby acne that always comes about the time you want to take pictures in a blessing dress.

We sure love this little girl and thank Heavenly Father every day for sending her special spirit to be in our family!

Happy Birthday Daddy

We are so Grateful for Daddy! He is so special. So Happy big 31. Hannah and Gabbie picked out new work out shorts and then we had "Nothing Bunt Cake" oh happy day! If you haven't tried them we highly recommend you do. They are wonderful. I was also pleasantly surprised this year because they opened a store in Lone Tree which is about 45 min away. It is so much cheaper to go to the store that have a cake shipped. The things we do for those we love:)

Puzzle

Hannah is awesome at putting puzzles together. We bought one the other day because it had Sleeping Beauty on it of course. Then today she put a puzzle together with her grammie so we went to Target and bought a few more. Hannah put these two together without any help. I told her to match up her colors and it would all work out! She came running into my room so happy that she had done it all by herself! What a proud momma I am.
